My beloved friend Lucius van Eijk who is an editor needed a much needed refresh of his portfolio website. He had been working in the film industry for a while now, but never put time into  showcasing his work. 

Since Lucius has been a a film fanatic since childhood, I wanted his website to reflect that passion. The concept drew inspiration from “old black-and-white movies,” paired with the iconic yellow subtitles for the typography. And for the layout  I took inspirationfrom the text placement in end-credit rolls. All this to create a cinematic feel.

I chose cargo as a webbuilder so that he could easly updated  the site without my help.
